What’s Different?
Rampart offers the best $5 shoe blackjack game in Las Vegas. It offers the standard double down before and after splitting, but also permits surrender and re-split aces. It also pays 3-2. This is what makes it different. Most $5 blackjack games in Las Vegas do not pay 3-2 on a blackjack. Rampart is in the locals market so it has to or nobody would play. It goes a step further and permits surrender and re-split aces. Station Casinos stopped permitting re-split aces in all games in 2015, making Rampart the last casino west of the Strip that allows it. The double deck game is nothing unusual. It offers the same rules as most other locals casinos in Las Vegas.
The Inside View
Rampart is the best place to play $5 blackjack in Summerlin. The shoe game offers double down before and after splitting, re-split aces and surrender. No other $5 game in Las Vegas offers those rules. It takes $25 to get that game at MGM Resorts casinos and $10 at M Resort and Golden Nugget. Nobody else spreads it at all. Since Station Casinos dumped re-split aces from all of its games, Rampart is by far the best locals joint on the west side of Las Vegas. The double deck game is typical of locals casinos with its double down before and after splitting. You can still find the game with re-split aces at Arizona Charlie’s and M Resort.
If you tire of blackjack, need a break, or want to increase your comps, Rampart offers full pay Jacks or Better. This is best played on point multiplier days.
